What We Offer
CrossFit is a methodology that teaches constantly varied functional movements at high intensity, that can be modified and scaled to each individual making CrossFit for everyone, from young to old. A CrossFit class typically has one coach, who has gone through the necessary classes and courses, to lead and teach proper movements and encouragement through a structured class setting. Classes usually last 1 hour, from warm up to cool down. We have a warm up different each day, to compliment the movements and exercises being used in the workout programmed. Workouts are all measurable through our tracking program both to track success and for the accountability to get better together!
For those that have never done CrossFit before, it’s been a while since you’ve been in the gym, or if jumping straight into a class setting is scary for you, we understand. We can work with you to set up some individual sessions to get you familiar with what we do. We want you to be comfortable & safe by taking the time to help you understand all the movements CrossFit regularly rolls through-squat, press and deadlift as well as the Olympic movements of the clean and snatch. Get with Jodi or Nate for more info!
We also offer personal training by itself or in addition to a CrossFit class membership to work on skills, accessory work , etc. A huge part of CrossFit is the integration of nutrition and exercise to stay on the side of health rather than the side of sickness.
If you look at the pyramid that makes up the fitness hierarchy, the base is nutrition. The thing that supports all else that we do is always at the bottom of the pyramid. You take that component away and the rest falls on itself. “You can’t out train a bad diet”, “Abs are made in the kitchen” and any other number of fitness cliches aren’t wrong. The work you put in at the gym is fantastic, but if you aren’t looking at the food you ingest daily as FUEL for everything you are doing, then you aren’t going to maximize your potential. Our modern world is set up against us. Convenience and the almighty dollar have teamed up to effectively poison our bodies and leave us hooked on the stuff. You have to break the chain of events in order to benefit fully from what you do at CrossFit Lindale. Thats where we as coaches, have coaches. We use, and fully endorse and support Sarah Scholl and MyAthleticAdvantage for our performance and nutrition needs. Jodi, as well as a number of our gym members and others from our community, have used Sarah and realized LIFE ALTERING results from her expertise. Read her Bio below
